Creative Lines is looking for an enthusiastic Landscape Architect to join our team and help plan and deliver outdoor spaces that people love to explore, use and return to.

Our work connects public spaces, play spaces, parks and campgrounds with walking trails, mountain bike trails and recreational infrastructure. We combine practical construction experience with thoughtful design, care for the landscape and a strong focus on the people using these places.

Whether you’re a fresh graduate or an experienced practitioner, we’d love to hear from you. We’re open to shaping the arrangement around the right person—project by project, part-time or full-time—with responsibilities suited to your experience and interests.

The opportunity

This is a varied role spanning design, planning and project delivery. You could contribute to:

- Site investigations, project scoping and landscape assessment.
- Concept design and masterplanning for parks, play spaces, campgrounds and recreation precincts.
- Integrating walking and MTB trails, landscape treatments and supporting infrastructure.
- Design development, documentation and coordination with specialist consultants.
- Client discussions, presentations and community engagement.
- Working with delivery teams to turn design ideas into practical, durable outcomes.

For a graduate, the role offers exposure to real sites, construction methods and the decisions that connect a concept with a finished space. For an experienced practitioner,



there’s room to take greater responsibility and help shape our growing design capability.

About you

You hold a recognised qualification in landscape architecture and have a strong interest in outdoor recreation and public space design.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Is curious about landscapes, ecology, terrain, accessibility and user experience.
- Brings creative ideas and a willingness to understand how they will be built and maintained.
- Communicates clearly and enjoys working with others.
- Takes initiative, welcomes feedback and is keen to keep learning.
- Is enthusiastic about contributing across a mixed design and project delivery role.

Experience in parks, play spaces, campgrounds or trails is welcome, but previous professional experience is not essential for graduate applicants. University projects and other examples of your design thinking are welcome in your portfolio. A willingness to travel to different regions for site visits, project scoping and delivery is a solid bonus.
