We’re looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to join a high-impact Australian Government data and analytics team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with contemporary cloud data platforms, data engineering, analytics and large-scale data transformation .
? What you’ll be doing
- Design, build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Develop data ingestion and transformation solutions
- Work with large and complex datasets
- Prepare data for analytics, AI and reporting
- Provide technical guidance and quality reviews to other data engineers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile teams

- Strong Azure data engineering experience
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Databricks / Spark
- SQL Server / Azure SQL
- Data Lake / Lakehouse
- ETL/ELT and automated data ingestion
- Parquet / Delta
- Power BI
- Azure DevOps
? Location Canberra – Hybrid
