Working within a specialist ICT and business intelligence team, you will contribute to the ongoing enhancement and sustainment of a critical enterprise platform that delivers reporting and insights to senior Defence stakeholders. Your new role /n As the Lead ETL Developer, you will support the ongoing enhancement, maintenance and improvement of a key Defence information management and reporting platform. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver business intelligence capabilities that support critical decision-making across the organisation.Your responsibilities will include: /n /n
- Developing and enhancing ETL solutions and data pipelines
/n
- Designing and supporting dimensional data models
/n
- Performing ETL testing, troubleshooting and code remediation activities
/n
- Automating scripts and improving data integration processes
/n
- Supporting ongoing reporting and business intelligence requirements
/n
- Managing competing priorities while balancing technical dependencies and business outcomes
/n
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and service delivery
/n /n
What you'll need to succeed /n
/nYou will be an experienced ETL professional with strong technical capability and the ability to operate effectively within a secure government environment.You will bring:/n /n
- Proven ETL development experience, ideally within Microsoft SQL Server environments
/n
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain data pipelines and data integration solutions
/n
- Experience with dimensional modelling, ETL testing and automation activities
/n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
/n
- Ability to prioritise workloads and deliver outcomes in a complex stakeholder environment
/n
- Current NV1 Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one
/n
- Desirable: Experience working within Defence or another Commonwealth Government department
/n /n
