We're recruiting an experienced Legal Assistant to join the Brisbane office of a leading national law firm, providing high-level administrative support within its Banking & Finance practice. The Opportunity

You'll work closely with senior lawyers within an established Banking & Finance team advising sophisticated corporate and institutional clients.

This is a traditional Legal Assistant role with plenty of ownership. You'll become an important part of the practice, keeping matters organised, managing competing priorities and ensuring the team has seamless administrative support.

Your role will include

- Diary and meeting management
- Preparing, formatting and amending complex legal documents
- Redlining, track changes and document comparisons
- Billing and month-end financial administration
- Client and matter administration
- File and document management
- Liaising with clients and internal teams
- General day-to-day support across the practice

About You

You'll have at least 2 years' Legal Assistant experience within a busy private practice environment. Experience supporting Banking & Finance, Corporate, Commercial,



Property or another transactional practice would be particularly relevant.

You'll also bring strong document formatting skills, confidence with billing, excellent organisation and a proactive approach to supporting senior lawyers.
