Legal Support Manager

Classification grade: Clerk Grade 5/6

Salary: $102,936 - $113,579 p.a. (plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annualised leave loading.)

Work type: Temporary 12 months with a possibility of further extension or conversion to ongoing, full-time (35 hours a week)

Work location: Our primary place of work is located at 252 Pitt Street, Sydney.

About the role The Crown Solicitor’s Office is establishing a Legal Support Manager talent pool for upcoming Clerk Grade 5/6 opportunities across a range of practice groups within our agency. This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Support Manager to join the Crown Solicitor's Office. In this role, you will provide operational and executive support across legal practice groups, leading administrative teams and advising and collaborating with Practice Group leaders on operational matters relating to legal support services. You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement change to ensure teams are well supported in the delivery of high-quality legal services to government.

You will balance competing priorities in a fast-paced legal environment, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while providing trusted operational advice and driving continuous improvement. You will foster a culture of excellence, client service, collaboration, diversity and inclusion, empowering your team to learn, grow and perform at their best.
