About the role

We are seeking an experienced Liquor Store Manager to lead our Carlingford NSW store. This is a full-time position where you will take responsibility for the overall management and performance of the store, ensuring it operates efficiently whilst delivering exceptional customer service. This role has a high level of autonomy in store operation, presentation and stock selection.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee all day-to-day store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and visual displays to maximize sales and customer engagement

- Achieve and exceed sales targets whilst maintaining profitability and controlling costs

- Ensure compliance with all relevant liquor licensing laws, regulations and company policies

- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock ordering and conduct regular stocktakes to minimize shrinkage





- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing concerns and gathering feedback to enhance the shopping experience

- Implement and maintain health and safety standards throughout the store

- Analyze sales data to inform business decisions and identify opportunities for growth

- Manage tills, reconcile cash handling procedures.

- Promote company initiatives to increase customer retention

What we're looking for

- Experience in retail management within the liquor, beverage or hospitality sector

- Strong knowledge of liquor licensing laws, regulations and responsible service of alcohol practice

- Excellent sales acumen with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets

- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems

- Exceptional customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset

- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by retail operations

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
