Daysafe Training is a Nationally Registered Training Organisation with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

Established in 2011, originally to service the Pilbara mining region of Australia, we have grown to provide solutions relevant to the mining, construction, transport & logistics, engineering and oil & gas industries throughout Australia.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is NOT a FIFO role.

We need a LOCAL RESIDENT who is a qualified Trainer, or has the Cert IV TAE and is experienced in mining or civil, or construction and is keen for a change!

Qualified tradies highly regarded.

Courses & training include; Safe work at heights, Confined space entry, Gas testing, 4WD training, White Card, Electrical & Fire Test & Tagging, Mobile earthworks machinery, Fire Extinguisher & Emergency training, Load restraint, Forklift & EWP Licensing...

Previous experience as a Trainer or Safety Officer is preferred but not essential.

Training will be provided to the right candidate with industry experience where necessary.

Remuneration will depend on experience and quals but will start at $65 to $70 per hour + penalties (depending on experience) and improve with performance.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

MUST have:

- Cert IV TAE (Inc. latest upgrade)
- Driver's license.
- At least 5+ years mining / civil / construction industry experience.

Desireable:

- Heavy vehicle drivers license (HR / HC / MC).
- Minesite inductions.
- Mobile plant experience.
- Worksafe approved HRWL Assessor (LF & WP) highly regarded.
- Previous training and/or safety role.
