Louvre Shade has been installing opening louvre roofs across Perth and the Southwest since 2009. We're a family owned and operated business that does one thing and does it well. Demand is growing and we're adding to our install crew.

We're open to a trades assistant keen to learn or an experienced installer ready to step up. Pay is set by experience. We're looking for someone available for an immediate start!

TRADES ASSISTANT

Perfect if you're fit, reliable and want to learn a trade-quality install from the ground up.

What you'll do

- Load and unload at our Rockingham workshop, then unload and set up on site
- Assist the installer with lifting, positioning and holding posts, beams, motors and blades in place
- Drill, cut and fix under direction (every project is different, so you'll learn something on every job)
- Set up and pack down ladders, tools and site protection
- Help in the workshop with cutting and prep on non-install days
- Look after tools and equipment and flag anything damaged or missing
- Leave every customer's home clean and better than we found it

What you'll bring:
- WA White Card
- Current driver's licence
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
- Reliable, on time and keen to do the job right
- Labouring or construction experience is a bonus, but attitude matters most
- Working at heights and forklift tickets are a plus

INSTALLER For experienced hands who can run set tasks on site independently and lead a trades assistant.

What you'll do

- Install motorised aluminium louvre roofs: posts, beams,



motors and blades (every project is different)
- Read site drawings and install details before starting each job
- Fix to concrete, steel and timber using the right method for each site
- Talk with customers on site professionally and keep them informed during the install
- Complete job photos and site paperwork at the end of each job
- Check quality before handover and fix issues before they become callbacks
- Leave every customer's home clean and better than we found it

What you'll bring
- 2+ years in construction, patio, pergola, roofing or trade work
- WA White Card
- Current driver's licence
- Confident on a mitre saw, impact driver and fixing systems
- Working at heights and forklift tickets are a plus
- Trade background (carpentry, metal fabrication, roofing) is a bonus

- Typical hours 7am–3pm, Monday to Friday; during peak times hours may be longer
