Machine Operator

Foamex Polystyrene Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of Expanded Polystyrene products in NSW. We have been servicing residential and commercial building customers for over 40 years and are proud of our strong reputation for quality, service and reliability.

We are currently looking for a Shift Production Operator to join our busy production department.

This role would suit a reliable, hands-on person who is a self-starter, has a robust work ethic and is keen to contribute to continuous improvement. Mechanical experience or aptitude will be highly regarded.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Machine set-up and operation

· Performing regular quality checks

· Cleaning and maintaining equipment

· Forklift driving, if you hold a current forklift licence

· Following safety and quality procedures

· Working as part of a high-performing production team To be successful, you will have:

· Machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment





· Good numeracy skills

· High mechanical aptitude, which will be viewed favourably

· A forklift licence, which will be an advantage

· A good understanding of safety and quality requirements

· The ability to read and follow process instructions

· Clear communication skills with peers, supervisors and team leaders

· A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Shift Details

Day Shift : 6 am to 2:06 pm

Afternoon Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:06 pm

Expected hours: No less than 38.0 per week
