Perth Plate and Reo, part of the Simmonds Group is a growing steel reinforcing business based in Landsdale, Perth, Western Australia.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine and Overhead Crane Operator to join our friendly and supportive team as we continue to expand.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate rebar processing machinery safely and efficiently.
- Operate overhead cranes within a workshop environment.
- Use forklift equipment for material handling as required.
- Handle raw materials including steel lengths and coils.
- Experience with rebar machinery or CNC machines will be highly regarded.
- Assist with general workshop duties as required.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications prior to dispatch.

About You:

- Previous experience working as a machine operator in a reinforcement steel (rebar) company is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive,



can-do attitude and robust work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Forklift license preferred (not essential)
- Overhead crane license is advantageous
- Current driver's license and own reliable transport
