Male Disability Support Worker, Blacktown NSW (Full-time, Part-time or Casual)

About the role

Passion Flower Care is looking for an experienced male Disability Support Worker to support a young adult with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 3) in the Blacktown area.

You'll work with him on his routines, interests and goals, helping him become more independent and live the way he wants to.

What you'll do

- Help with daily living and personal care
- Support him to get out into the community and take part in activities
- Provide transport to appointments and outings
- Follow his support plan, including positive behaviour support strategies
- Work with the rest of the team and keep accurate progress notes

What you'll need





- Experience supporting people with Level 3 Autism
- A good understanding of positive behaviour support and sensory needs
- Patience and explicit communication
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Australian driver's licence and a reliable car
