You will be responsible for:
- All aspects of fire assay processes including weighing, de-slagging, cupellation and prilling
- Carrying out routine analysis and testing
- Adhere to all quality and safety standards
- Record keeping and reporting of analysis results
- Regular stocktakes and sample management
- Participate in the preparation of samples for Fire Assay, XRF, ICP-OES, and Spark-OES analyses
- Comply with all safe operating procedures
- Actively contribute to individual learning and development
The ideal candidate is passionate, self-motivated, and able to adapt quickly in a world class business.
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Applied Chemistry, preferablymajoring in Analytical Chemistry or related discipline.
- An understanding of Classical and Instrumental Analysis
- Self-motivated and proactive approach
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and numeracy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and a solid work ethic
- Based in Marrickville, Sydney.
