Manager of Business Unit – Technology Corrective Services NSW Location – Bathurst Correctional Centre

Employment type – Ongoing, Full- time 5D (5 days)

Salary – $147,250.00 pa plus superannuation and leave loading

Your role We are currently seeking an experienced Manager of Business Unit (Technology) who is a logical and analytical thinker, with strong trade, operational and people management experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead diverse teams, manage business operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

As a Manager Business Unit, you will lead and oversee the day-to-day activities of the Business Unit, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and commercial outcomes are achieved while maintaining a safe and effective working environment.

This is more than an operational management role. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to your team, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to business development initiatives that strengthen service delivery and create new opportunities. Through strategic planning, decision-making, and people leadership, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and achieving business objectives.

Essential Requirements

- Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete within specified timeframes
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery highly desirable, however all trades will be considered




- Current NSW Drivers Licence and preparedness to drive to locations as required

Experience Required

- Demonstrated experience relevant to the role, with the ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities outlined in the role description.
- Proven post trade experience
- Proven management experience
- Leadership and people management skills
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and decision making
