About the Role The Last Slice is looking for an experienced Manoush & Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team in Sydney Olympic Park.

We are seeking someone with a minimum of 2 years of skilled experience preparing Manoush and pizza, preferably in a busy Lebanese bakery, café or restaurant.

The ideal candidate will be confident working with dough, preparing traditional Lebanese Manoush, making pizzas and managing their section independently during busy service periods.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of consistency and quality, and can work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook authentic Lebanese Manoush and a variety of pizzas.
- Prepare, stretch and handle dough to a consistent standard.
- Prepare toppings, fillings and ingredients for daily service.
- Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently.
- Maintain consistent cooking times, portion sizes and presentation.
- Manage the Manoush and pizza sections during busy service periods.
- Complete daily food preparation and station setup.
- Monitor stock levels and minimise food waste.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic workstation.
- Follow food safety procedures and kitchen standards.
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.

Requirements




- Minimum 2 years of professional experience preparing Manoush and pizza is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Lebanese Manoush preparation and traditional cooking techniques.
- Confident handling, stretching and preparing dough.
- Experience operating commercial pizza ovens.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy section.
- Strong attention to food quality, consistency and presentation.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Flexible availability for morning and evening shifts.
- Full Australian working rights.
