Sample advert 1: Skills-focusedManufacturing Assistant – Part-Time

Approx. 3 days per week | Monday to Friday | Up to AU$35 per hour

Are you someone who enjoys learning new skills, improving the way things are done and taking pride in accurate, high-quality work?

Join an established Australian company that has been operating since 1999. Due to our continued growth, we are looking to expand our team with a motivated Manufacturing Assistant who wants to develop their skills in a supportive, lean manufacturing environment.

We invest in training, education and the ongoing development of our people. This is more than a routine production role. You will learn a variety of manufacturing processes, work with tools and equipment, and develop your capability while producing complex electrical components where accuracy and attention to detail matter.

About the role

As a Manufacturing Assistant, you will:

- Work as part of a supportive lean manufacturing team.
- Learn and perform a variety of production and assembly processes.
- Use hand tools and equipment safely and accurately.
- Follow documented procedures and quality standards.
- Contribute ideas to improve safety, quality, efficiency and workflow.
- Build your skills through structured training and hands-on experience.
- Take pride in producing reliable, high-quality products.

The position is part-time, approximately three days per week. The initial employment arrangement will be casual while you complete our training and qualifying period, with the potential for a permanent or full-time opportunity for the right person.

About you

We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous,

proven experience working with tools.
- Has experience in a factory, workshop or manufacturing environment.
- Enjoys learning and developing new skills.
- Embraces change, continuous improvement and new ideas.
- Has a positive, reliable and cooperative approach.
- Takes pride in accuracy, quality and attention to detail.
- Is interested in a long-term role rather than short-term employment.
- Has a reliable employment history.

Previous electrical or electronic manufacturing experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential. The right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as your previous experience. Why join us?
- Join a growing company that has been operating since 1999.
- Work in a clean, organised manufacturing environment.
- Receive comprehensive training and ongoing support.
- Gain exposure to a wide range of manufacturing processes.
- Be part of a company that values education and continuous improvement.
- Work with a team that considers its people its most important asset.
- Develop skills that can support your long-term career growth.

We are growing and looking for additional people who want to learn, contribute and build their future with us. We are prepared to invest significant time in training the right person, so we are seeking someone interested in a genuine long-term opportunity. If you are motivated by constant improvement and want a role where your skills will continue to develop, we would like to hear from you.

To apply: Please attach a maximum one-page summary explaining why you would be a good fit for this position.

Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
