Role Overview

We are seeking a Market Development Manager based in Sydney to identify and evaluate new market opportunities, conduct competitive and customer research, and help shape regional market entry and growth strategies. In this role, you will bridge technical innovation with commercial execution—developing market plans, aligning solutions with regional regulations, and collaborating with sales teams to convert high-value opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis & Research: Conduct competitive and customer research to understand regional EV trends, charging protocols, and market regulations.

Strategic Planning: Design and execute actionable market entry and GTM (Go-To-Market) plans aligned with RNL’s product roadmap and regional compliance.

Sales Collaboration:



Partner with global sales teams to build pipeline, engage prospective clients, and support customer-facing activities.

Go-To-Market Execution: Prepare localized GTM materials, support solution presentations, and translate market feedback to internal product teams.

Tracking & Reporting: Regularly analyze market performance, maintain sales forecasting, and refine market strategies based on data and stakeholder input.

Requirements

Industry Experience: Proven background in EV charging, energy, software/protocol tech, or relevant infrastructure sectors.

Core Competencies: Strong skills in market research, business planning, analytical problem-solving, and sales support.

Technical Acumen: Understanding of EV charging ecosystem standards (e.g., ISO 15118, EVCC/SECC) or Solar-Storage-Charging systems is highly beneficial.

Communication & Work Style: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to thrive in a hybrid, cross-border team environment.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Advanced degree is a plus).
