Manufacturing & Supply Graduate Program 2027
1 Graduate Opportunity | Brisbane, Virginia | 2-Year Contract
Start your career where technology, innovation and healthcare come together.
You’ve worked hard to build your knowledge. Now it’s time to put it into practice.
At Opella, we’re challenging how self-care works for millions of people around the world, and we’re looking for a Manufacturing & Supply Graduate to join our Virginia site in Brisbane in 2027.
Over two years, you’ll have the opportunity to build practical experience within our Manufacturing & Supply environment, working alongside experienced teams and gaining exposure to the technologies, processes and data that help us make and supply healthcare products.
Whether your interests lie in manufacturing, supply chain, robotics and automation, digital technology, data and analytics or artificial intelligence, this is an prospect to take what you’ve learned at university and start applying it to real-world challenges.
We’re looking for someone with curiosity, fresh thinking and a challenger mindset. You don’t need extensive work experience. We’re interested in your potential, technical capability, willingness to learn and drive to make an impact.
About the opportunity
Our 2027 Manufacturing & Supply Graduate Program is designed to give you practical experience while developing the technical, analytical and professional skills to build your career.
Rather than expecting you to fit neatly into one technical discipline, we’re interested in graduates who can bring different capabilities and perspectives to the future of Manufacturing & Supply.
During the two-year program, you’ll have opportunities to:
- Gain hands-on experience within a real Manufacturing & Supply environment.
- Contribute to projects focused on improving the way we manufacture, operate and supply our products.
- Explore how automation, robotics, digital technologies, data and AI can support modern manufacturing and supply environments.
- Use data and problem-solving skills to understand challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Learn from experienced colleagues across different technical and operational disciplines.
- Build your technical capability while developing communication, collaboration and project skills.
- Bring fresh thinking and challenge complexity by looking for smarter, simpler ways of working.
The graduate position will be offered on a two-year contract, with the potential to secure permanent employment with Opella following the program. Any future permanent opportunity will depend on available roles, your skills and capabilities, and your performance during the program.
Main responsibilities
Depending on your projects and areas of exposure, you may:
- Support projects across manufacturing, supply chain, operations and technology.
- Use data to identify trends, solve problems and support better operational decisions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and supply processes.
- Explore opportunities to apply digital technology, automation and new ways of working.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, supply and other teams to solve real business challenges.
- Prepare analysis, presentations and recommendations to support projects and decision-making.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, seek feedback and build your technical and professional capability.
- Ensure Safety and Quality is always at the forefront of your mind.
About you
We’re not expecting you to arrive with years of industry experience. This is a graduate opportunity, and we’re looking for potential, curiosity and a genuine interest in the future of Manufacturing & Supply.
You’ll ideally bring
- A Bachelor's degree, completed recently or due to be completed before joining us in 2027, in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
