Our client is seeking a motivated Valve Assembly Operator to join their workshop team based in Wangara.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for assembling, testing and inspecting valve and flow control equipment, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Responsibilities

- Assemble and test valves, actuators, positioners and associated flow control equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions
- Conduct inspections, testing and basic fault-finding to ensure products meet quality standards
- Safely operate workshop equipment, hand tools, power tools and lifting equipment
- Complete quality, testing and production documentation accurately
- Assist with stock control and inventory processes where required
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop environment

Your Profile

- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, repair or testing of industrial equipment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation




- Solid attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Experience using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Current Forklift Licence

Desirable

- Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Experience working with valves, actuators, pumps or other industrial process equipment
- Exposure to manufacturing, maintenance, service or workshop environments
