About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team at our manufacturing facility in Murray Bridge. This is a permanent full-time role on afternoon shift, with the opportunity to be part of a stable, local and growing team. As a Mechanical Fitter you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our production equipment and mechanical systems. You will work as part of a supportive maintenance team responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement of plant and equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing mechanical maintenance, fault finding and repairs on production machinery and plant equipment
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems including pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Supporting production teams to resolve mechanical issues quickly and safely
- Contributing to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
Shift Details
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:15pm
- 15% afternoon shift loading applies to all ordinary hours
- Permanent full-time roster (no weekend work required on this shift)
Note: We are hiring for the afternoon shift role first. A morning/day shift fitter role may be recruited in the near future.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A recognised trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a manufacturing, processing or industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills across mechanical systems (pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics)
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills, a proactive solutions-focused attitude, and a genuine commitment to ONE team and a no-drama culture
