Scotford Fennessy is recruiting several experienced Mechanical Fitters to join the Ore Leach Department at an established WA mineral processing operation.

These opportunities suit fitters looking for consistent work, a balanced roster and a pathway into permanent employment after an initial three-month placement.

Whether your background is in gold, nickel, mineral processing or another heavy fixed plant environment, we’d love to hear from you.

THE WORK You’ll join the maintenance team carrying out preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and mechanical fault finding across:

- Pumps, pipework and valves
- Thickeners and tanks
- High-pressure, high-temperature autoclaves
- Associated fixed plant equipment

THE OPPURTUNITY

- 8:6/7:7 roster — 8 days on, 6 off / 7 nights on, 7 off
- Casual Rates $70ph days and $80.50ph nights
- FIFO from Perth, with Tuesday fly-in and fly-out
- Transition to permanent employment after three months, subject to a successful placement
- Competitive permanent salary package, plus allowances and bonuses, discussed at interview
- Upcoming mobilisation dates: 20 October,



27 October, 3 November 10th November and 17th November 2026

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
- Current driver’s licence
- Relevant fixed plant maintenance experience
- A solid commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
