Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a growing Medical Affairs function as a Medical Affairs Associate, combining science and regulatory thinking with practical business decisions across a broad Consumer Health portfolio.
Working closely with Medical, Regulatory, R&D;, Marketing and Product Development teams, you'll provide scientific and regulatory input to support products from development through to market.
You'll broaden your experience across evidence assessment, claims substantiation, promotional review and product development, translating complex information into clear, practical recommendations.
This is a 12-month fixed-term role.
The role also offers opportunities to support your local community through paid community leave.
Responsibilities
- Assess promotional and advertising materials for scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate scientific and clinical evidence and develop claims substantiation and evidence files.
- Provide scientific and regulatory input across product development, formulation changes, claims and market readiness.
- Translate complex scientific and regulatory information into clear, practical recommendations.
Experience
- We're looking for someone who can assess scientific evidence, navigate regulatory requirements and work with stakeholders to find practical solutions in a rapid-paced environment.
- You'll bring:
- Experience in Consumer Health, Regulatory Affairs, R&D;, Scientific Affairs or Medical Affairs.
- Experience assessing scientific evidence, claims or promotional materials.
- A strong understanding of regulatory and scientific requirements.
- Excellent critical appraisal and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Registration as a pharmacist would be highly desirable.
