MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST (Exp Pref)

Eltham Clinic & Monty Clinic is seeking a bright and cheerful receptionist with excellent customer service skills to join our friendly, caring and supportive team. The role involves guiding our patients expertly through their journey at our clinics.

This position requires organising appointments, maintaining medical records , scanning, stocking, sterilisation and performing other tasks to ensure the smooth and productive functioning of our clinics.

Our well established, patient focused clinics are private billing, computerised, accredited and are traditional family orientated .

This position is a permanent part-time and flexibility to cover annual and sick leave is a must.

Permanent Shifts:

Wednesday Morning (Eltham Clinic) –8.30am to 2pm

Thursday Morning (Eltham Clinic) – 8.30am to 2pm

Friday Afternoon (Monty Clinic) - 1pm to 5pm (close )

Essential:

1. Excellent customer service skills

2. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

3. Able to work independently,



efficiently and show initiative.

4. Ability to work productively as part of a team

5. Proficient use of computer software and keen to learn new skills

6. Flexibility to adjust work pattern to meet additional workloads as they arise.

7. Minimum of 1 year medical reception experience required

8. Australian work rights required for this position

9. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position

Desirable

1. Previous experience in a general practice environment

2. Knowledge of clinical software: Best Practice/ Pracsoft preferred

3. Knowledge of the MBS and medical terminology

4. First Aid and CPR training

5. Current Driver's license

6. Certificate 3 in Health Services Assistant
