SKEEN Clinic is seeking a friendly, organised, and patient-focused Receptionist to join our growing team.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy specialist clinic. About the role

Skeen is looking for a confident, friendly Medical Receptionist to join our busy skin cancer clinic. This is a casual position with a genuine opportunity to move into a part-time or full-time role once you’ve settled in and shown you’re the right fit.

You’ll be the first face and voice patients meet, and you’ll play a key part in making them feel comfortable, informed and well looked after. Our team is hands-on and supportive, and we’ll take the time to train you properly.

What’s on offer

- Casual employment with the prospect to become permanent part-time or full-time

- 1-2 weeks of dedicated training (4-5 days per week) with our Senior Receptionist
- A supportive clinic team and a chance to learn about skin cancer detection and treatment
- A review at the end of your training period to confirm next steps

What you’ll be doing

- Greeting patients and managing front desk and phone enquiries

- Booking and managing appointments using Best Practice





- Handling patient check-in, billing and payments

- Learning and confidently explaining the treatments and services the clinic provides

- Working closely with our doctors and clinical team to keep the clinic running smoothly

About you

- Previous experience using Best Practice software (preferred)

- Experience in a medical or skin cancer clinic (preferred)

- A confident, articulate communicator with a warm, professional manner
- A keen learner who is eager to understand the clinic’s treatments and procedures

- Reliable, organised and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

- Availability to attend training 4-5 days per week for the first 1-2 weeks
