- Producing detailed joinery shop drawings and production drawings using Microvellum

- Developing accurate cabinetry and joinery details ready for manufacturing

- Preparing drawings and information for CNC production

- Ensuring dimensions, materials, hardware, finishes and construction details are accurate

- Interpreting architectural drawings, plans and specifications

- Checking drawings carefully before releasing jobs to production

- Working closely with production to resolve drafting and manufacturing issues

- Making revisions and incorporating approved changes

- Liaising with Project Managers, designers and other drafters

- Identifying potential manufacturing or installation issues before production

- Maintaining accurate and consistent drafting standards across projects

- Assisting with improving drafting processes, templates and documentation.

- We are looking for someone who has strong practical joinery knowledge, not simply CAD experience.





You will ideally have

- Solid Microvellum experience

- Previous experience drafting custom kitchens, cabinetry or architectural joinery

- Strong understanding of cabinet construction and manufacturing

- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications

- Understanding of CNC manufacturing and production processes

- Excellent attention to detail

- Robust problem-solving skills

- Ability to identify potential issues before they reach production

- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with Project Management and Production

- Experience working in a custom joinery/manufacturing environment

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
