Lead a High-Performing Underground Mining Operation

PMM Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Mining Superintendent to join a growing underground hard rock mining operation at the Merlin Mine Site. This is a rare opportunity to secure a senior leadership role offering premium remuneration, an even-time roster, long-term project stability and the opportunity to lead a contemporary underground mining team.

Working closely with site leadership, you will be responsible for driving safety, production and operational performance across the underground operation.

About the Role

- Lead all underground mining activities
- Manage production and development teams
- Drive safety, compliance and operational excellence
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly production targets are achieved
- Coordinate underground development and production schedules
- Mentor and develop Supervisors and underground personnel
- Foster a strong safety and performance culture




- Liaise with site leadership and technical services teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation

Essential Requirements

- Extensive Underground Hard Rock Mining Experience
- Previous Mining Superintendent Experience
- Strong Production and Leadership Background
- Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong Commitment to Safety and Compliance
- Ability to Pass a Full Pre-Employment Medical
- Ability to Pass Drug & Alcohol Screening
- Clean National Police Clearance Required
