Seeking an experienced mobile plant mechanic to work in an ongoing role immediately.Your new company

Hays Trades and Labour are partnering with a leading organisation who specialise in a wide range of high-quality quarry products. Producing and delivering high quality crushed rock at both quarry sites. They are looking for a skilled, qualified mechanic to join the team in Melbourne's western suburbs.

Your recent role

- Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing of mobile plant equipment
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Repairs, rebuilds and component replacement work
- Conducting inspections and identifying maintenance requirements
- Maintaining service records and documentation
- Working closely with operations teams to minimise downtime
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards

What you'll need to succeed





- Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology or similar mechanical trade
- Previous experience working on earthmoving, quarry, mining or heavy mobile equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Experience with hydraulic systems and heavy machinery maintenance
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Valid HR licence
