About the role

Melbourne Eurotech is seeking a Full time Motor Mechanic to join our team. We are dedicated to delivering top-quality services for all makes and models of all Euro vehicles. Whether it's routine maintenance or complex repairs, we've got you covered to keep your vehicle running at its peak.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain, test, and repair motors and mechanical components
- Detect and diagnose defects in engines and parts
- Disassemble and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components for inspection
- Repair and replace worn or defective parts, following service manuals as necessary
- Perform scheduled maintenance services like oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups to ensure smooth vehicle operation and compliance with pollution regulations
- Reassemble engines and parts after repairs




- Test and adjust mechanical parts post-repair to guarantee proper performance
- Utilize computer assistance for diagnosing and testing parts
- Conduct vehicle inspections and issue roadworthiness certificates or recommend necessary work for roadworthiness
- Provide assistance in response to vehicle breakdown incidents

About you

- AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training, OR AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
