Border Express currently has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced MR Driver to join the team at our Albury branch.

We’ve got a permanent role available, Monday to Friday, doing local pickups and deliveries. If you know express freight and take pride in doing the job right, we want to hear from you.

This position plays an integral part in the safe, efficient and effective movement of freight to achieve the delivery promise that we have made to our customers.

Benefits:

- Transparent pay rates - $28.39/hr super potential opportunity for over time when required.

- Full time, permanent role.

- Hours - Monday to Friday starting at 8:00AM.

- Weekly, reliable pay cycle.

- Work close to home.

Duties:

- Securing loads properly every time.

- Loading and unloading (if you have your forklift licence).

- Completing PODs using PDA Scanners.

- Doing pre start checks and keeping your truck and forklift are in positive condition.

- Working with the depot team to keep freight moving safely and on time.

- Maintain a strong commitment to safety and professional presentation.

- Adhere to all relevant laws and legislation including load restraint guides, DG codes, fatigue management legislation, road laws and council regulations.

Skills and Experience:





- MR Licence at a minimum.

- LF Forklift Licence is advantageous.

- Excellent Driver History Report.

- Great local knowledge of Albury and surrounding areas.

- Sound knowledge of Dangerous Goods (DG) requirements, Load Restraint requirements.
