Amaya Broadbeach is HIRING! Amaya opened in July 2026and is part of Roamfree Hotels, the collection of premium 4 to 4.5-star serviced apartment resorts across Queensland and Victoria including the iconic Q1 Resort & Spa and Rhapsody Resort in Surfers Paradise.

We are seeking multiple reliable, motivated and detail-oriented people to join our on-site team in the following roles;

- Casual Housekeeping Room Attendant (available NOW)
- Casual Houseman/Public Area Cleaner (available NOW)
- Casual Receptionist / Guest Service Agent (available end of October)

In these roles, you will help deliver exceptional guest experiences by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our boutique resort, set within a luxurious, sophisticated and stylish environment. These casual positions are offered on a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster between 6:00am and 5:00pm. Availability to work weekends and public holidays is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Houseman / Public Area Cleaner - Clean and maintain all public areas with a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness whilst abiding to workplace and safety procedures. Provide guests with relevant information about facilities and services. Ensure that all guest requests for amenities and services are fulfilled.
- Housekeeping Room Attendant - Ensure all guest rooms are presented with a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness with tasks including bed making, vacuuming, mopping floors etc
- Stock and prepare cleaning trolleys with chemicals and essentials as required
- Report any damage or areas needing attention throughout the resort to the Assistant Manager or General Manager.
- Receptionist / Guest Service Agent - Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival at the resort.



Checking guests in and out efficiently and professionally. Assisting guests with any inquiries or requests during their stay. Ensuring every guest has a memorable and enjoyable experience during their stay!

Who We’re Looking For

- Confident, service-focused professional who takes pride in creating standout guest experiences.
- Previous experience in a resort or hotel environment is highly regarded but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided.
- A people person with natural warmth, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic to join an already amazing team culture.
- Strong commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members and understand workplace instructions and procedures.
- Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Successful candidates must be reliable, flexible, accustomed to working to timelines, possess a positive attitude and be detail oriented.
- Ability to work individually and Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities to handle a range of guest requests efficiently in a team environment.
