Are you organised, friendly, reliable and enjoy working with people? Music Creators is looking for a motivated and efficient part-time Administrator / Receptionist to join our team at our music learning centre in Underwood.

Previous administrative experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and the initiative to help keep our centre running smoothly.

Position Details

- Position: Part-Time Administrator / Receptionist
- Location: Underwood, QLD 4119
- Hours: 4 hours per day
- Initial workday: Tuesdays, 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm, during school terms (11-week terms)
- Opportunity: Potential to take on additional days for the right candidate
- Commitment: A minimum 12-month commitment is required

Key Responsibilities

- Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries
- Managing lesson-related emails and correspondence
- Assisting students, parents and teachers with lesson bookings and scheduling
- Maintaining accurate student schedules, payment records and other administrative information
- Performing general administrative duties and data entry
- Processing payments via EFTPOS
- Opening and closing the centre as required




- Arriving punctually and helping ensure the centre operates smoothly

About You

Ideally, you will:

- Be friendly, professional and approachable, with excellent customer service skills
- Have strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a small team
- Show initiative and be willing to learn
- Have excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Have experience using Microsoft Office
- Have previous administrative or reception experience (preferred, but not essential)

Training will be provided for our administrative processes and EFTPOS payment system.
