A part-time position is available for a motivated individual skilled in music to fill the role of a music director at Positive Success Church. The music director organises and leads the worship team in praise and worship while also overseeing and coordinating all the details encompassing a worship service.

Responsibilities include

- Build a team of musicians and singers skilled in worship by further developing their technical abilities.
- Work closely with the Worship Manager to lead and guide the team.
- Plan the worship services in consultation with the speaker to ensure that all the musical and technical aspects of the service advance the theme of the day.
- Provide direction in song/music arrangement that facilitates congregational worship.
- Direct all weekly activities and rehearsals necessary to facilitate worship in services.
- Work closely with the Worship Manager to provide training and develop programs that teach and encourage team members to develop their musical skills.

Essential criteria

- Competent in keyboard (preferred) and/or guitar.
- Available to work on Thursday and Sunday; and Saturday as and when required.
