Your current roleAn exciting opportunity has become available for an entry-level Operations Officer to join NAB's Markets Operations team, supporting Foreign Exchange, Money Market (FXMM) and Derivatives activities. The role is responsible for trade management, confirmations and reconciliations, while providing operational support to internal stakeholders and global customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage trade confirmations and support the derivatives' confirmation process
- Review and validate customer documentation, ensuring signatures and details are accurate
- Perform daily trade and position reconciliations across multiple systems
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, discrepancies and exceptions
- Run and review daily operational and client reporting activities
- Support monthly interest management processes
- Liaise with global customers regarding outstanding or failed confirmations
- Work closely with Front Office,



Markets Operations and support teams to resolve queries
- Monitor and support compliance and risk management obligations
- Escalate issues and potential risks in a timely manner to ensure positive customer and business outcomes

The Details Location: 395 Bourke Street, Hybrid Working Duration: End of October to March 2027 Hourly Rate; $38.89 + Super Hours: 8 to 5PM or 9 to 6PM

About You

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Exposure to financial markets, banking operations or financial instruments
- Comfortable working with numbers, data and reconciliations
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Proactive mindset with the confidence to identify and investigate issues
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship is preferred.
