Your New Role

We are looking for a dedicated, energetic and experienced National Air Freight Perishable BDM to join our team on a full time basis located in our Melbourne or Sydney or Brisbane office.

Bring your flexible, Can-Do attitude to work every day and enjoy being part of an amazing team. As well as having experience in a similar role, some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- To obtain new customers and maintain existing customers
- Always present yourself as an ambassador of Hellmann, ensuring that the companies standards, principles and reputation is always maintained to the highest level
- Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base within target perishable verticals and ensures its strong presence
- Achieve growth and profitability targets in line with pre agreed annual targets
- Grow perishable pipeline by prospecting, identifying and evaluating current opportunities.
- Remain current in market trends, technology, and best practices to ensure relevance when engaging with prospective customer’s
- Develop strong relationships with key target customers across the decision-making matrix
- Working with the operational and solutions team, develop operationally,



commercially attractive solutions that exceed customer expectations
- Confidently understand, present and explain engineered solutions in order to close the business
- Take the lead in contract negotiations in order to achieve a mutually beneficial contractual term
- Remain aware of the operational / commercial performance of implemented business and assist of requested by Country / Regional management in account management

Customer service is crucial in this role which means you will need to exercise a level of professionalism and understanding when it comes to customer needs.

What You Need

We will help you be successful in this role. To start you will need:

- 5 Years Experience in similar role within the industry
- Amazing communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to details
- Excellent negotiation skills

Your professional presentation and communication skills, along with true passion for providing exceptional customer experiences will play a major role in achieving success, both professionally and personally.
