About the role

We are looking for a warm, reliable and experienced full time or part-time nanny/family assistant to become a valued part of our family in Wamuran, QLD. The primary role is caring for our 2-year-old and 2-month-old baby, with some care of our 10-year-old during school holidays and other times as required. Mum works from home and will be available throughout the day when needed, particularly to feed the baby.

Key responsibilities

- Providing loving and attentive care for our baby and 2-year-old

- Playing, reading and providing age-appropriate activities

- Taking the children outside, for walks and to suitable activities/outings

- Preparing snacks and simple meals for the children

- Assisting with naps and daily routines

- Nappy changes and general baby/toddler care

- Caring for our 10-year-old when required, particularly during school holidays

- Keeping children's play areas, toys and belongings organised

- Keeping the kitchen tidy and cleaning up after meals

- Washing, drying, folding and putting away laundry

About you





- Warm, caring and patient

- Experienced and confident with babies and toddlers

- Reliable, organised and able to use initiative

- Comfortable working alongside a mum who works from home
- An animal lover and comfortable around dogs and farm animals

- Holds a current driver's licence and has a reliable vehicle

- Holds a current Blue Card

- Holds current First Aid and CPR certification

- Holds a current National Police Check

- Able to provide recent, contactable references
