Disability Support Workers - Casual Positions

About the Role

We are seeking experienced, compassionate and dependable disability support workers to join our growing team on a casual basis, supporting clients across Penrith, St Marys, Blacktown, Kellyville and surrounding suburbs.

We are looking for mature-minded individuals who have previous experience in home care and personal care, demonstrate strong professional values and genuinely enjoy supporting people with disabilities.

As a Support Worker, you will play an important role in helping our clients maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life through consistent, respectful and personalised care.

Responsibilities may include

- Providing hands-on personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming and hygiene assistance.
- Supporting clients with daily living activities, household tasks and meal preparation.
- Assisting with mobility and transfers.
- Supporting community access, social activities, appointments and outings.
- Encouraging independence, choice and individual goal achievement.
- Supporting clients with complex and/or challenging needs.
- Building positive, respectful and professional relationships with clients and their families.
- Following individual support plans, workplace procedures and NDIS standards.

About You We are looking for applicants who are:

- Experienced in home care, personal care and disability support.
- Reliable and dependable with a strong commitment to attending scheduled shifts.
- Patient, respectful and compassionate in their approach to care.
- Professional,



trustworthy and able to communicate effectively with clients, families and colleagues.
- Confident working independently and adaptable with the ability to respond appropriately to different client needs and situations.
- Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in disability support, home care and personal care.
- Current Australian Drivers License
- Reliable, registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Current First Aid / CPR
- NDIS Screening Check/ National Police Check

Desirable
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or Disability or equivalent.
