About the Role

We are looking for a Network Administrator to join our IT team in Gladesville. You will keep our internal network, servers and end-user devices reliable and secure. You will also support the network needs of our security and building automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Install, configure and maintain network hardware and software, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points and servers

· Monitor network performance and availability, and optimise systems to ensure efficient operation

· Diagnose and resolve network faults, and document the diagnosis and resolution

· Manage user accounts, passwords and access permissions in line with security policy

· Maintain IT asset inventory and network documentation

· Monitor for and respond to security incidents, and apply security updates and patches





· Provide help desk support and training to staff on network and hardware issues

· Support the network requirements of client-facing systems

· Assist with infrastructure projects, upgrades and system rollouts

· Work closely with our research and development team to drive new technology solutions

Skills and Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience

· Demonstrated experience administering and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, routing, switching and wireless networks

· Working knowledge of network security, firewalls and user access management

· Experience with network monitoring and management tools

· Windows environment and Microsoft 365 experience

· Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills

· Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues
