What your day could look like
As a Mental Health Worker, you'll help children, young people and families build confidence, resilience and brighter futures. Working across Kingaroy and Cherbourg, you'll be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team creating positive change in the community.
Every day you will:
- Support children, young people and families to achieve mental health and wellbeing goals.
- Build strong relationships with families, schools, health professionals and community partners.
- Deliver personalised, evidence-based supports that promote recovery and resilience.
- Contribute innovative ideas that enhance care and service delivery.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Relevant qualifications and professional registration, certification or membership in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or Speech Pathology.
- Experience supporting children, young people and families in mental health, health or wellbeing settings.
- Strong communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, sound judgement and a commitment to continuous learning.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have:
- Experience in rural, regional or culturally diverse communities.
- Additional training or experience in child and youth mental health.
