Join Us in Tamworth, NSW An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join Australia’s largest small stock processing plant in Tamworth, NSW — the heart of the New England and Australia’s country music capital.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse, passionate and empowered team, helping drive high standards of food safety, product quality and compliance across a fast-paced red meat export operation.

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a critical hands role in ensuring both company and customer expectations are consistently met. This position is ideal for an QA to work within the red meat domestic and export industry.

The Role

You will help lead and maintain the site’s food safety, quality and compliance systems to achieve operational excellence. The position ensures that the Thomas Foods International (TFI) HACCP based Quality Systems are followed and implemented within TFI Tamworth site Departments.

What We Are Looking For To succeed in this role, there are a few essential qualities that we need and look for in this role:

AUST-MEAT Accreditation

Certificate II Meat Processing

Excellent leadership skills including conflict resolution and problem solving.

Excellent people & communication skills.

Production Hygiene & Sanitation Monitoring.

Process & product Monitoring.

Meat Hygiene Assessment of Production.

Product conformance with AUS-MEAT & customer quality standards.

Ensuring the plant and employees work to TFIT standards including TFIT Quality system, HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practice, IMS,



Environmental Management system and training programs
