About the role

This is a hands-on role combining freight operations, quoting and customer service.

Key responsibilities

- Booking and coordinating local, regional and interstate freight
- Preparing freight quotes and responding to customer enquiries
- Selecting suitable carriers and transport solutions for each job
- Liaising with customers, drivers, carriers and depots
- Tracking deliveries and providing customers with updates
- Managing urgent deliveries and resolving transport issues
- Entering bookings and maintaining accurate job information
- Following up outstanding or delayed freight
- Assisting with general day-to-day transport operations
- Building strong relationships with our customers and transport partners

Knowledge of local transport, pallet freight, regional distribution or interstate freight would be a robust advantage.
