Operator / Packer – Afternoon & Night Shift

Our client, a leader in the production of moulded plastic containers for the food, cosmetics, and medical industries, is seeking dedicated Manufacturing and Packaging Operators. You will play a vital role in supporting the manufacturing and packaging processes of a variety of tubs, pots, and other containers.

We are currently looking for reliable and motivated Operators / Packers to join a busy manufacturing team in Wingfield.

There are Afternoon Shift and Night Shift positions available, with the opportunity to secure permanent employment for the right people once you have demonstrated your reliability, work ethic and ability to perform the role.

Available Shifts

- Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm – 11:06pm
- Night Shift: 11:00pm – 7:06am

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating and packing products as required
- Following work instructions and production procedures
- Checking production paperwork and confirming product codes
- Recording materials and products being used
- Weighing products using scales and recording weights accurately
- Completing in-process quality checks
- Identifying visual quality issues or non-conforming product
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets





Full training will be provided on the day shift, including how to complete the required quality checks. You don't need to have previous experience in this exact role — we're looking for people who are reliable, switched-on and willing to learn.

- Can read and write confidently
- Can follow instructions and production processes
- Have good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Are comfortable working with numbers, paperwork and product weights
- Can identify visual differences and quality issues
- Have a solid work ethic and reliable attendance
- Are physically capable of working in a production environment
- Are flexible and willing to work weekend shifts when required
- Are happy to work 5–6 days per week, including weekends, with the possibility of having time off during the week
