Dentist & Co is a well-established, dual QIP-accredited dental practice in the heart of Balmain, in Sydney’s Inner West. We have been caring for the local community since 2002, so we have built a large, loyal base of patients who return year after year. Our team of independent dentists and oral health therapists provides premium care across general, cosmetic and implant dentistry, clear aligners, sleep dentistry and children’s dentistry, using the latest digital technology.

The role

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Oral Health Therapist with adult scope to join our team as an independent contractor, part time or full time. You will work on commission and practise across your full scope, including:

- Comprehensive examinations, diagnosis and treatment planning within scope
- Scale and clean, periodontal assessment and non-surgical periodontal therapy
- Restorative treatment for adults and children
- Radiographs
- Fissure sealants, fluoride and preventive care
- Teeth whitening, mouthguards and oral hygiene education
- Treatment of paediatric patients

About you

- Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist (dental hygienist and dental therapist divisions) with adult scope
- Experience across your full scope of practice (new graduates with adult scope are welcome to apply)
- An ABN and your own professional indemnity insurance
- Strong communication skills and a genuine, patient-centred approach
- A commitment to clinical excellence and high infection control standards

Hours The practice is open Monday to Thursday 8:00am–5:30pm and Friday to Saturday 8:00am–3:00pm. Please let us know which days you’re available.
