RAAM Storage is part of the Authorised SSI Schaefer Distributor Network. We specialise in Supply, Installation, Maintenance and Auditing of a wide range of storage systems.
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Installations All-Rounder to join our team.
Key Responsibilities This Role Will Involve:
- On-site installation of pallet racking and steel shelving systems
- Repair and maintenance of storage equipment
- Compliance with all company and client OH&S; policies and procedures
- Safe operation of hand and power tools
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Loading and unloading trucks and shipping containers
- Freight organisation and dispatch coordination
- Delivery of goods to client sites
- Workshop-based modification of racking components (cutting, drilling, etc.)
- Interpreting and working from technical drawing.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Hold a current driver’s licence
- Hold a White Card
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Trade experience is highly desirable
- Experience in pallet racking and steel shelving installation is advantageous but not essential
- Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial environment
- Knowledge of pallet racking standards, including AS 4084
- A valid Forklift Licence
- A valid EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Licence
- A current First Aid Certificate
On-site training will be provided for the right candidate.
