Connected People is partnering with an established law firm in Sydney to recruit a Paralegal for their contested estates practice.

Working closely with the principal, you’ll support will dispute matters from the first client enquiry through to settlement and finalisation. The role combines client contact, drafting and matter coordination.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include

- Taking initial enquiries, arranging appointments and preparing client engagement documents
- Gathering client information, wills, estate asset details and supporting documents
- Preparing correspondence and initial drafts of court documents for solicitor review
- Assisting with affidavit preparation using client information and solicitor instructions
- Filing court documents and arranging service
- Tracking court dates, deadlines and outstanding responses
- Assisting with settlement checklists, payment follow-up and billing





About you You may be working as a paralegal or an experienced litigation legal secretary who enjoys being involved in the progress of a matter.

We’re looking for someone with:

- Experience supporting litigation matters, ideally in contested estates
- Confidence preparing correspondence and assisting with court documents
- Good organisation and consistent follow-through on deadlines and outstanding tasks
- A transparent and sensitive approach to client communication
- The ability to work closely with solicitors and ask questions when needed
