The Prospect

As a Payroll Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting payroll compliance and administrative processes. Opportunities may range from standalone payroll positions through to larger payroll teams.

Typical Responsibilities

- End-to-end payroll processing on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.
- Interpreting awards, EBAs and payroll legislation.
- Processing leave, superannuation and termination payments.
- Maintaining accurate employee records.




- Managing payroll queries and providing support to employees.
- Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
- Supporting HR, finance and broader business operations as required.

About You

- Previous payroll experience in a standalone or team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of payroll compliance and employment legislation.
