This established business is in need for a Payroll Officer to join their team.

The Role

This position involves end to end processing of the company's weekly and monthly payroll (300 employees). Maintaining good working relationships internally is also a key component of this role. Day to day responsibilities include:

- Processing payroll - weekly & monthly (most employees are monthly)
- Reconciliations and payments of tax and superannuation
- Month end preparation and reporting
- Identify and drive payroll efficiencies and improvements
- Preparation of various payroll reports
- Award interpretation
- Reconciliation of Payroll Accounts
- Ensuring correct payments are made, including terminations and resignations
- Resolving any payroll queries
- Adhoc HR assistant assignments





The Candidate We are seeking an enthusiastic Payroll Specialist to join this busy, fun and friendly and growing team. The focus of this role will be managing the full payroll function for the Australian business.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will take ownership and execution of the payroll function.

The successful candidate will have effective communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a professional disposition are absolutely essential for this varied hands on role. Your effective organisational skills and ability to deal with priorities and deadlines will see you in successfully hitting the ground running in this quick paced fun, friendly and social environment.
