We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care and are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Personal Assistant to join our small and passionate team, 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesdays and Fridays) for one on one support for a Orthopaedic Surgeon and Gynaecological Oncologist based at our Belair offices (formerly known as The Blackwood Hospital). Some occasional travel maybe required to Flinders Private Hospital if required to cover clinic days. A competitive, above award, hourly pay rate will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant/Medical Secretary who enjoys working one on one with specialists, is passionate about patient care and has excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Executive one on one support to Specialist Consultants




- Front of house reception duties including meeting and greeting of patients in a pleasant and welcoming manner when required
- Handling telephone queries and patient appointment bookings
- Medicare online and Eclipse billings
- Diary management
- Theatre management and bookings
- Dictation Typing

Key Requirements:

- Orthopaedic, Gynaecological Oncologist or Specialist experience is highly advantageous but not essential
- Excellent phone manner and presentation
- Exceptional customer service skills
- High attention to detail with advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Have a high level of organisational skills and time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Genie software program is an advantage but not essential
- Flexible with hours
