About the Role
AvantiCare is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join its Allied Health team on either a full-time or part-time basis.
The role involves delivering high quality physiotherapy services across community and residential aged care settings, supporting clients to improve and maintain their mobility, independence, function and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
As a Physiotherapist with AvantiCare, you will manage a varied caseload of aged care and private clients across home, residential and community settings. You will undertake comprehensive assessments, develop evidence-based treatment plans and work with clients to establish meaningful goals that support mobility, independence and quality of life. You will monitor progress, adapt interventions as required and maintain accurate and professional clinical documentation.
Working both autonomously and as part of AvantiCare’s multidisciplinary allied health team, you will collaborate with clients, families and care providers to achieve positive outcomes. You will participate in clinical supervision and professional development,
maintain contemporary evidence-based practice and contribute to AvantiCare’s commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated post-registration experience as a Physiotherapist.
- Experience delivering physiotherapy services to adult clients, including clients with complex or chronic needs.
- Strong clinical reasoning, assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Current National Police Check, First Aid and CPR certification, or ability to obtain these prior to commencement.
- Appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
Desirable
- Experience working within aged care, community health and/or NDIS settings.
- Experience delivering services in clients’ homes or other community-based environments.
