As the business furthers its investment in Machinery and Process at its Glendenning site they are looking for a new Site Maintenance Engineer to lead installation, validation, and operational and preventative maintenance.
About the role
As Plant Engineer, you will support maintenance strategy, reliability improvement initiatives and capital project delivery to ensure equipment availability, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and business continuity. You will also coordinate engineering resources, contractors, maintenance activities and projects:
Key responsibilities
- Support safe, reliable and compliant operation of site facilities, utilities, manufacturing equipment and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies utilising MEX.
- Drive reliability, equipment uptime, operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate contractors and ensure safe work practices,
risk assessments and required certifications are in place.
- Support GMP compliance, equipment qualification, validation activities, calibration and documentation requirements.
- Troubleshoot machinery and facility issues, supporting production teams to meet daily operational requirements.
- Execute agreed capital projects on time and to budget, including risk assessments, and documentation.
- Assist with longer-term capital planning and engineering improvement initiatives.
About you You are a Plant Engineer/ Engineering Supervisor with experience across maintenance, projects and reliability within a highly GMP regulated manufacturing setting (such as pharmaceutical, human/ animal health or food). You hold a strong understanding of WHS requirements and risk management relating to site contractors and have exposure across a site from utilities to machinery. You have either come through the trade route or hold a Tertiary qualification in an Engineering subject and want to progress into an Engineering Manager role in the next couple of years.
