About the Role

Loop N Leap is a vibrant, family-friendly indoor play centre offering children's play experiences, birthday parties, private functions and cafe services.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and hands-on Play Centre Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our team and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The successful candidate must be willing and able to work across all areas of the business, including preparing barista coffee, cooking and preparing cafe food, coordinating birthday parties and assisting staff during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

Centre Operations & Leadership

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the play centre and cafe.
- Recruit, train, supervise and roster staff.
- Coordinate birthday parties, private functions and group bookings.
- Manage customer enquiries, bookings and complaints.
- Oversee POS transactions, cash handling and daily reconciliation.
- Monitor stock, operating costs and sales performance.
- Support marketing activities and initiatives to increase bookings and revenue.

Cafe & Kitchen Operations

- Prepare and serve quality barista coffee and other beverages.
- Prepare, cook and serve cafe food.
- Assist with food preparation for birthday parties and functions.
- Maintain food hygiene, cleaning and presentation standards.
- Manage food stock, ordering and waste.
- Actively assist cafe and kitchen staff during busy periods.

Safety & Compliance

- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
- Conduct regular play equipment and facility safety checks.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
- Maintain incident records and safety procedures.




- Ensure compliance with applicable food safety and workplace safety requirements.

Essential Requirements

- Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality, indoor play centres or similar venues.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Practical barista experience, including coffee machine operation.
- Experience in food preparation and basic cooking.
- Robust leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Valid Working with Children Check appropriate for the position.
- Availability to work weekends and school holidays

Desirable

- Previous indoor playcentre or family entertainment venue experience.
- Food Safety Supervisor certification.
- Experience coordinating birthday parties and events.
- Experience with stock management, rostering and cost control.
