About the role

As Practice Manager, you will be the operational heartbeat of the clinic. We are looking for a hands on practice manager to work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to keep things running smoothly while helping us sustainably grow and expand our services in the Northern Territory.

Full time or part-time (negotiable for the right candidate)

We are a mutli-site practice, however, this role will predominately based at our main clinic in Parap.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee the smooth, efficient daily running of the clinic, reception, and patient flow
- Contribute to general administrative duties including reception duties
- Help guide our growth, identifying opportunities to help make cardiac care more accessible in the Northern Territory
- Lead, mentor, and support our friendly administrative and support staff, fostering an efficient, friendly and collaborative workplace culture
- Champion a genuinely warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for every patient who comes to our clinics
- Manage rostering, billing workflows, practice software, budgets, and adherence to health and safety standards

About you





- Experience as a Practice Manager or as a senior health administration role, ideally in general practice or a specialist setting
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, organise and support a close-knit team
- Sound business acumen and the drive to help a growing practice thrive
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, empathetic approach with patients and staff alike
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn and work across a range of software systems, including practice management, billing, secure messaging and diagnostic platforms
- A good working knowledge of Medicare billing and healthcare compliance standards
- A adaptable, proactive approach and comfort with change in a multisite, multidisciplinary practice
